Samsung v Netlist '523 IPR Final Written Decision Flash Alert 5-3-2023

The Final Written Decision on Netlist’s ‘523 patent (filed by Samsung) was issued this morning. Netlist won the Final Written Decision with the PTAB Finding that Samsung did not show by a preponderance of evidence the claims were unpatentable.

Note this patent was not involved in the recently issued $303M jury verdict on April 21st. I will need to cross reference the prior art used in the FWD in the ‘523 patent to the 5 patents litigated at trial.

Nice to see a win at the PTAB.
